audio capture problem

Of late, clips have been taken unusually long to process following capture, accompanied by a meter bar and the cryptic message "verifying audio data." When they finally become ready to view, they're out of synch. I haven't changed any settings (just scratch discs) and have been capturing without incident for months... though I did encounter this problem once before.

What format are you capturing?

I haven't encountered that problem in a while, but when I did, it was usually because the audio was set incorrectly during recording -- for example, 32kHz.

Yeah, almost always because the camera has been set to 32K during recording. Check your camera audio settings.
