DV NTSC 480i 60 capture
July 06, 2010 04:47PM
My camera guy came back and he messed up the settings on the camera for the shoot he was on. He shot 480i 60 frames instead of 30 fps.

Audio is out of sync on the playback because I digitized this as DV - NTSC 30fps. I tried creating some custom settings for the recapture of the footage. Changing to 60 frames equated to dropped frames during capture.

#1 what capture settings should I use to capture?

#2 what sequence settings should I use to edit this footage with?

#3 Will I be able to use compressor to take the quicktime export from the same sequence and convert it for playback on an SD broadcast?

Thanks in advance, I feel like this could be a mess...

There is no interlaced DV at 60 fps.

On the Panasonic HVX200 there are options to record / shoot 480i 60i to tape.

60i is 60 interlaced fields a second. Capture as DV NTSC.
