Get rid of humming sound on audio

Hi,

I have a humming-buzzing noise on my audio track that is on an interview, so no music, just voice, recorded on one track.

What's the best way to get rid of this buzzing?

I have FCP version 5.18 and Sound Studio that came with it, which I've never used. I do know FCP.

I'm working with a MacBook Pro, version 10.5.8

If it is 60 cycle hum AND the voulme of the hum is consistent you can try
the hum filters in filters/audio.

If it is a buzz, it will contain more harmonics and possibly a niose gate will work.
