Match frame issue

When I hit match frame on a clip on the time line it will bring up the original clip with the scratch audio. Even though I unlinked that audio and synced it with the recorded audio. Is there any way to match frame back to the synced clip not the scratch audio?

Also posted a question about exporting video and all the blank spaces on the timeline are exporting as white not black any ideas on that?

are the clips you are match framing from in the timeline linked to the new audio?
i know one doesn't always have the audio in the timeline, but if you do ty to keep it linked.

otherwise / also,
are the timeline clips AFFILIATES of the synced MASTER clips?
if you park on and select a timeline clip and hit Shift F does it take you to the synced clip in the browser?
