How can I ramp up speed on a clip without slowing the front of it?

Thanks,

Justin

Can you describe in detail what you are trying to achieve? Starting fast and slowing to normal speed. What?

Warning: What I think you want to do may entail recapturing your clip with a lot of extra "Handle" if it doesn't already have it.

I'de like to start the clip at normal speed and gradually increase the speed.
When I try this the front end of the clip slows down.

Unfortunetly I don't have a lot of preroll on the clip.

Yeah, well that's just what you DO need. Tons of handle so that you can do your move, then trim off the chaff. Any chance you can dub to get yourself some handle at the front end of the shot?

Can I create a new clip with a slug up front and export it as a self contained clip? Then I would have handles.

When you do trim the clip, does't the speed effect strat at the beginnin of the new cut?
