selecting audio tracks

when I edit audio & selecting which sequence tracks will get source audio most times when I click a sequence audio track to get source usually source audio track 1 will connect to that sequence audio track, BUT sometimes source audio track 2 connects.


I don't know why this different selection unexpectedly happens.

I hope to find out why because to know how to control this will help improve my editing pace. To know how to call source audio channel 2 to a sequence track with just a simple click allows me to skip dragging tracks to select where audio tracks go.

You see when this different pattern happens and source audio track 2 connects with just a click then I am able to click on another sequence audio track and source audio track 1 also will connect with just a click instead of having to drag the source audio track 1 to that target.
