Hi All,

I have had some requests for animated banners on web pages. So did some experimenting trying to create swf files by using sorenson squeeze 6.0. The resulting file would not play properly. Tried some other utilities to create the swf and they would play, but they animation/video looked awful would only play though once and stop.

Curious what those of you here at LAFCPUG do for such a project?

All the best,

-Scott

You might as well give in and stay away form flash. Instead create an "animated gif" in Photoshop. Google How to make an animated gif and you are good to go.

Hi Michael,

Do animated GIF's currently support more than 256 colors (know that was original limitation)?

I don't know but I do know that if you use more than 256 colors the file size will get huge.
