Importing Subtitles to DVD SP 4.2.1

Hello, I have a project that requires 3 different language subtitles that are being done by a subtitle company. They have sent me a few examples to test out which works and thus far they all say either wrong format or timecode issues. I have received an .stl, .sst and.son - is there anywhere that will tell me an easy way to import these simply and quickly? Thanks What format should I ask them to send me the subtitles in?

DVD SP accepts .stl but these .stl files have to be Spruce STLs not EBU STLs. You can easily check what kind of STL it is by opening the subtitle file with TextEdit - if you can read it and understand it, DVD SP will understand it as well.
