Master Clip Not present would you like to add MC to browser?

My computer crashed (G5 logic board) and unable to repair - upgrade to new intel and new FCP - after that I have not been able to find master clips in browser with keyboard command- this is the message I get :

"The Clip's master clip not present. Would you like to add master clip to the browser?" The clips are in the browser how do I reconnect them?

How do I get FCP to read/find those clips?

That could mean the project may be corrupted and the master/affiliate clip relationship is broken. You could try reverting to a previously save project file (eg. in the autosave vault), and see if the issue still persists in that project. Really nothing you can do to rebuild master/affiliate clip relationship.
