Alpha transitions not recognized

I have just downloaded Alpha transitions from the Apple website onto my imac but they will not open.
I just get a box saying "Alpha transitions dmg not recognized "
Can anyone give advise on what to do.....please

Sounds like a corrupt dmg. Download it again.

Thanks for that, had to do it three times but now have transitions

It's due to a flakey Internet connection and the dmg file probably failed the checksum.
