Audio Filter questions
April 14, 2011 01:51PM
Hi all:
I just received an interview from an amateur cameraman who did not mic the person properly and I only have the audio recorded from the camcorder, shot inside a slightly echo room. Is there a FCP filter for helping with reducing the echo effect of a large room, i.e., camcorder mic takes in the audio instead of the lapel mic?
Thanks to all of you for everything: past, present and future.
Stan

Not that I know of. Removing echo is very hard, because essentially your trying to remove the sound of the person's voice from the person's voice.

The person that invents a filter that takes care of the echo problem, will be a billionaire. That has not happened yet angry smiley
