I am editing an HD project currently up to about 80 mins. After about 10 mins or so if no work is done on the editing, a warning sign appears "Codec not found. You may be using a compression type without the corresponding hardware card."

It doesn't seem to affect anything, but I have no idea what it means. (I am shooting on a 5d Canon11 and transfer to FCP via a canon software program that logs and transfers automatically to Apple ProRes 422 1920x1080 25p)

Any clarification?

Have any stills in this timeline? Tiff? JPEG? PNG?

AHA! Make sure they are all set to RGB, and not CMYK. CMYK color is for print work. And freaks FCP out.

Exported and reimported the stills which changed the stills settiong to RGB. Had no more reoccurance of the warning sign. Thank you very much
