Is it possible to import a Protools OMF into Final Cut?

I am attempting to learn how to export and import OMF files from FCP (v.6.0.6) to Protools v.9.

I have succeeded in exporting from FCP to PT, but when I save a file in PT as OMF and try to open it in FCP I get a rather rude dialog box.

Any casual ideas would be appreciated.

Final Cut Pro cannot import OMF files. One option is Pro Import FCP from Automatic Duck.

Another option (and more appropriate for most users) is to bounce an AIFF out of Pro Tools.

Soundtrack Pro can import OMFs.
It's a buggy POS but it might do the trick.
