Converting DVD (24fps) to XDCAM 1080p 30fps?

I have to incorporate footage pulled from a DVD:

224 MPEG-2, 720 ? 480, 16:9, 23.976 fps, 9.80 Mbps, upper field first

...into a timeline of a film:

XDCAM EX 1080p 30fps

Any suggestions about the best way to do this?

I was going to use MPEG Streamclip to do the conversion, but I'm not sure how to get around converting the 24fps to 30fps...

All ears,

Ben

I'll reply to myself.

I used MPEG Streamclip and converted the DVD MPEG2 24fps directly to XDCAM 1080p 30fps ... one shot deal. The resulting XDCam Quicktime looks terrific, not a single stutter in the frame rate conversion. I dump it on the XDCam timeline and it works seamlessly with the original XDCam material.

Onward and upward...
