Best up-rez workflow for jvc hm100 footage

I've shot a lot of 720p with this camera - but now forced to use it on a 1080 project. Is it better to let the camera setting do the up-Rez? Or shoot native 720 and transcode in Fcs? Grateful to anyone who's dealt with this - thanks!
