Inexpensive Mac Laptop for use on set - FCP capturing

Hello everyone

I am looking for a laptop, used, that I can take to set to capture footage, check file format, quality, spec captured footage, and basically backup all the SD cards I'm shooting with, Canon 60D

Anyone recommend a Mac laptop that would not be too expensive, like under $1,000, but can still do the job ( all editing will be done later in suite, 2010 mac pro 12 Gb Ram, 4 TB, Blackmagic Studio 2

The Macbook is your only option for a new, under $1000, Mac Laptop. You could probably find something cheaper refurbished from apple, and probably even less expensive still by going the used route.
