iphone glitches

Hello Working on 7.0.3... I imported a few clips from my iphone (via iphoto), created a short 2 minute time line an then tried to export to Quicktime Movie and the .mov came out full of glitches, strange colours and one shot was replaced by a lime green blank screen. I experimented and exported to .mp4 and it came out great ,,,well not including the terrible image,,but it exported fully in tact..

Thoughts?
Thank you,
Michael

iMovie ingests in the native MPEG H.264 format used by the camera. This media is not supported for production in FCP. You need to use Compressor to convert it to QuickTime using ProRes LT.

All the best,

Tom
