Hi all

I just wanted to know why the rendering of footage in FCP 7 takes so long when there is the correct sequence settings for it and the RAM has more than enough space?

Any help would be appreciated.

Is your sequence set to hdv? And what are you rendering? A denoiser?

Yes it is set on HDV and I'm rendering the video and audio on the timeline.

If your sequence settings and your video are the same, and you don't have any filters applied, then you shouldn't have to render. Unless you mean you're conforming?
