FCP Disc Trade in

When Apple announced that they would alllow FCP users to trade in their Power PC disc for Universal discs I sent my Power PC discs in and received Universal discs. I had been using a Power PC computer up until last week when I got a new iMac. When I tried to reinstall FCP on my new iMac I got a message telling me that I was using a Power PC disc and it wouldnt install. Any ideas? Thanks

While the applications themselves are Universal, parts of the installer in FCS 2 and lower are PPC-only. To get around this you'll need to use Pacifist to extract the files:
