HDV and AVC intra 100 50i sequence settings

Just wondering the best sequence settings to use in FCP 7 when combining HDV 1080 50i
and P2 avc intra 100 1080 50i.
I want to achieve the best quality but i am worried if I try and match HDV to the avc intra settings
it will fall apart,
please help

Final Cut Pro will be slow and unstable if you use either of those as a sequence codec. I would recommend using ProRes as your sequence and rendering codec.
