Printing to tape an HDV sequence onto a Sony GV-HD 700/1 deck

I want to print to tape an HDV sequence on a small Sony GV-HD 700/1 portable recorder. Any pointers?

Can you get your timeline to show up on the monitor while it's playing? And is there a record button that will capture this? Those are the two things you'll need to acheive to make it work.
