Log and Transfer

Newbie Question. Each time I do a Log and Transfer, all previous clips show up even if they are not on the SD card. I just shot 12 new clips on a formatted SD card and about 200 clips, some duplicated, appeared in the clip list. Can't cut them from the list or eliminate them in any way. I'm sure it's simple but I can't see a way.

Log and Transfer mounts "volumes" -- one set of clips in a file system which usually represents one memory card from the camera -- and they stay mounted unless you dismount them.

Select the clips you don't want to see and click on the "Eject" button. That dismounts the disk volume which contains those clips.

Do NOT click on a clip and press Delete/Backspace!

I thought it might be simple. Thanks very much. BTW, what happens when you select a clip and hit Delete/Backspace

In older FCP versions, it would delete a clip from the card. You get a warning and it defaults to "yes".
