Up Graded to Mountian Lion- video Capture now Very Dark/ wont let me save / FCP 7.03 studio

Hi All -
I up graded to Mountian Lion on Imac 2.5 ghz FCP 7.03 Studio
DV NTSC 4/3 OWC 800 FW drive

Now when I capture video its REAL Dark almost black--

and it wont? let me save project says - File Error Access Denied

worked fine before upgrade -- Any Ideas / Fixes ?? --- Thanks--Jay--

Not sure about the capturing issue, but about the File Error issue, try this fix from Avid:

1. Click on the system (Macintosh HD in most cases) drive to highlight
2. From the File menu select Get Info (cmd+I)
3. Click the lock icon in the bottom right to make changes
4. Click on the “Read only” text in the Privilege column next to Everyone (also check the [Me] column) and set the privilege to “Read & Write”
