Matching frame to the source clip

I know that the media path for a clip is broken when you transfer sequences from project A to project B. When I'm in the timeline of project B, I'm still able to hit F to match the frame in the viewer, but am not able to reveal the clip in the Browser. What is the clip getting matched to? Can I still use it to drop down into a sequence as I would with a clip whose master clip still exists in the Browser?

hi Atrerios.

match framing from a timeline into the viewer will simply open a version of the clip.
it is quite alright to re-use it in the edit.

for what it's worth, if you have a copy of the logged clips in the browser,
you SHOULD be able to copy a sequence from one project to another and have a working master / affiliate relationship between timeline clips and browser clips.

if you bring a sequence into an empty project, then you can alway use Tools Menu > Create Master Clips to create a set of master clips.
might not be much use to you.
