FCP 7 Omf export size limitation

Hi,

Does FCP 7 have a 2 gig size limit for OMF? I read previous versions did but I'm getting this message on 7.0.3.

Yes. It's an OMF limitation.

You can turn off tracks, and export them in groups. I try and break them up by Pre-dub, this offests the annoyance to Sound of having to import more OMF's (Actually NO BIG DEAL). Production is always the biggest and might require 2 or more passes. Depending on a few variables. # tracks, bit size, reels.

Annoying yes but a doable work-around.
