FCP & Blackmagic Intensity Card

As of yesterday my footage was displayed on my Sony monitor using my Blackmagic Intensity card (HMI out to HMI in) that I have been using for a number of years.

As of this morning I can no longer see my footage on the monitor and the Intensity card does not show up on system profile.

I have reinstalled the Blackmagic software and tried everything known to mankind but to no avail.

I have been unable to find Blackmagic customer support for returning the card to have it looked at for a possible failure.

Any suggestions?

Often when things go blam for no particular reason it's the preferences. You can trash them yourself, or use an app like this one : [www.digitalrebellion.com]

Thanks Jude. I have never trashed 'Preferences" before and will attempt to find the method for doing so.

I would rather not put out the $139.00 for the software that you suggested. At least not until all else fails.

Time for me to consult the manuals.
