FCP 7 keeps on asking for serial number with lion

hello everyone!
this is my first post here, i'm desesperate to find a solution for that issue:
- i have the serial
- i've fresh installed FCP7 onto 10.8
- first time i launch FCP7, it ask me for the serial. validate and OK, i use it.
- i can close FCP7 and restart, no need to put serial again.
- but EACH TIME i reboot the machine, FCP7 is asking again for this damn serial number.

this is a known issue.

i tried the tools from digital rebellion without any success. there are 3 options for registration, NONE works.

any clues ?

Yes, I know it's an Avid kb article, but try it. The Lion seems to have muddled its paws into some OSX permissions.
