Specs for clips being provided for broadcast

Hello to all,

I assemble a clip show for broadcast. Stations air the show in HD where available. The show consists of music videos and performance clips supplied by record labels, independents artists, etc.,... Final delivery is an MPEG2/1920x1080/16:9 file.

In regards to the music videos/performance footage, what specifications/format should I request for editing in FCP7? I'll receive clips/videos from users using Mac and PC. Would Dropbox be a good option for delivery?

Thoughts, suggestions?
