Audio snycing issues in FCP 7 (24P)

The audio slowly drifts out of sync. Additionally the file lengths changes length after importing into FCP. Any solutions? Thank you.

I am using 24p sequences as well as 24P WAVE audio. The original media including pro res 422 hq is 24P

Are you importing them back into the same session, or did you start a new one? - I have done both, still no difference . Both sequences , 24p, 48 htz, 24 bit

I have transferred all to AIFF - FCP does not recommend mp3 - AIFF no difference in file length

make sure your sequence pre-set is correct for this project.
that can affect audio you import
so it needs to be set to the frame rate you are working at.

if it's wrong, set it correctly, then re-import the audio,
maybe into anew project just to be safe

Solved the issue with the sequence pre set in AV settings then reimported media. It works!
