New Mac Pro

Is anyone using the new "coffee maker" mac pro? My mac pro's are 7 and 8 years old and getting a little worse for wear. I understand that FCS 3 will run on mavericks. Is this a workable solution or is this a run, forrest run situation?

Also, is anyone using X with any success?
