Optimizing green screen

Hi all,

I've set up a green screen in my studio and am generally quite happy with the results. The spill is reasonable, nothing that can't be fixed with the tools the chroma keyer in FCP provides. One funny thing though is that when I move my hands, there's a rather large halo of green spill. As soon as I hold still, that goes away. Why is that? I know that increasing the distance to the screen would probably fix that, but unfortunately that's not possible. I'm just curious why the spill increases with movement.

Thanks,
Stefan

Reduce the shutter time of your camera.

Great Dennis, that's it. Now that I think of it, it makes sense.

Thanks,
Stefan
