Hey everyone!....I have a question.
I'm working on a video for work and I've across an obstacle. I am a Maya 2012 user and just got Final Cut Studio. We have recorded footage and I want to import it into Maya to add special effects such as particle systems (blood and smoke) and some other effects.
Is this possible to do? ANd, what is the best way to do this?....Also, if you can make a better recommendation for how to go about it, I would truly appreciate it.

Thanks,
ANthony

Do you know what types of footage Maya will accept? Also, what camera did you record on?

Hi Jude...thank you for the reply.....Actually, i figured it out smiling smiley
We used an HD digital camcorder that one of my co-workers owned. We converted it to a .tiff file and then were able to import it into Maya.

Thanks again,
Anthony
