Digitized in wrong format.

FCP 5.1.4

I accidentally digitized my original HD footage from videotape without using the squeeze format. I completed the editing on the 4:45 minute video and then discovered the error of my ways. Is there any method to reformat this footage to the 1440x1080 format without having to re-edit the entire video?

I tried everything but could not achieve my goal. Looks like I will have to re-digitize all of the footage and then re-edit the project. My fault for not being careful enough.

i don't know what DC suggested, the post is not here.

but you don't need to re-edit,
simply re-connect to the newly captured footage.

or simpler still, create an off-line version of your project using the Media Manger,
and batch capture.

Thanks Nick. In the interest of time I had to proceed with the project and recaptured all of the footage and did a re-edit. It only ran 4:45 so it only took a day of editing. I didn't see your response until just now.
