Editing Console or Station Review for Physical HealthPosted by MJ
Thank you for letting me know.
Re-uploaded the video. Thank you again! ** Hi everyone, Last time at LACPUG meeting, I won the grand prize, which is the chair for the editing desk. I pay particular attention to the chair and desk as I do spend a lot of time in the editing. and once I got the chair, I've been using it rigorously. I even ignored the standing desk I bought from the IKEA. Anyway, it just occurred to me that some DPs would spend a couple grand or more easily on the camera lens and all. I really think editors should think about investing in the great station for an ergonomic purpose. Check out the first video I made of the product review. It was very nerve-racking to stand in front of a camera, but the chair was so good I just had to do it. [youtu.be] Let me know what you guys think! Thanks!
What? Can't hear---
Just kidding. This model looks a bit like my Carder chairs from Staples-- the only ones with three controls! Sit-stand is the new mantra for editors. Walter Murch led the way. IKEA makes a few models that are electric, and one that is hand-crank, very affordable. I love IKEA very much, right down to the last meatball with lingonberry sauce. Best, as always. Loren S.
