Razor tool to insert dissolve

<HTML>Hi Gurus!
I have a 6 minute clip on the time line, I want to put a dissolve into the middle of that clip.
I select the razor, create a split in the clip, the right click and add the dissolve. When I run the sequence...dissolve doesn't show....and yes, it has been rendered.
Any ideas?

<HTML>Is this with 2.0? I had that same problem too. Forget how I fixed it though. Try increasing disolve to 2 seconds to see if anything happens. Zoom in on the timline and make sure it really is there.
