ok, so working on a shoot using the panasonic hvx, im very familiar with the panasonic work flow, but i have a huge problem

i downloaded the contents folder to be imported later went to open it, and the files had gotten erased by some one improperly using the p2 import to see the footage. So i restored all the folders and the contents and now fcp won't allow me to open the contents folder and import the footage

i tried using p2 log and it says "The selected P2 volume contains no valid clips."

now theres definitly data here but im not sure what to do to get to this footage.

I need to find a solution or we have to authorize a reshoot asap

i used data rescue and scanned the harddrives and restored the data

and all the data is there but at the same time, it's unreadable

Hmmmm...any media recovered with data recovery software has issues. Most often it will not work.

You can try to put it back onto a P2 card and repair the clips with the camera....do you have access to the camera?

yea i have access to the camera but not till tommorow mourning, any tips on doing the repair?

I don't have the camera, I just know it has a FIX CLIP or REPAIR CLIP option. Found this on the Cow P2 forum:
