O.T. DVDSP4 No slideshow icon

Hi All, I posted this over on the DVDSP forum and got lots of looks but no response.

I am new to DVD Studio Pro4 and am stymied by what I am sure is simple problem. Following a tutorial, I clicked on add slideshow which should add an icon in the "graphical interface". It doesn't. It does add the icon in the "outline " screen list. Any ideas what I am doing wrong. Barry

I dont think you're doing anything wrong. If it's appearing in the list, it should appear in the graphical. If it doesn't, its a glitch of some sort. Move things around in the graphical viewer to make sure its not covered, zoom way out to see if it got lost. Or just link a button to it and see if it works in the simulation. As long as it works, you should be fine.

you could always trash preferences, etc to see if it helps
