Color correct movies with alpha

I had imported in a 32bit movie file into FCP 4.5HD
and decided the yellow wasn't yellow enough.

I added a color correct to this overlay animation
and all of a sudden the alpha info disspeared as long as
the ColorCorrect filter was enabled.

Is there a way around this?
