Back in LA now and just wanted to let you all know the SuperMeet was super and major crowded and hot and sticky but a good time had by all except those that got there late and got hot and sticky. Thanks to all of yo for holding the fort down. Can't believe how many posts there are in one week. Traffic is nuts in the Cafe and all do to you brilliant people.

I'm going to go drink some wine and relax and back to work tomorrow.

That was about the size of the crowd at NAB, but in about half the space. But it was still fun. met a lot of folks again.

Sean Cullen was the star of the show.

I took lots of bad pictures but took beautiful Highway 1 back to LA and got lots of really good pictures of the Central Coast and Elephant Seals. We taped the show. God knows when it will be ready to go to web. I'm sure good pictures will surface. Lots of cameras there.

How many Oz people are there on here now? We should have an Oz meet at some stage - OZFCPUG anyone?

Glad to hear the meet went well - would love to see the presentations.

There is a Sydney Mac Group. Looks like Greg Sharp is the guy to contact. They might have a FCP SIG. Good place to start.

there is also a Sydney FCP group.

[com1.runboard.com]

i only realised this myself just after NY.
it;s run by 2 guys: Douglas Suiter and Myles Conti.
funny thing is that years ago i had met & helped Myles get started with FCP.
back then they were both working as projectionists at Hoyts (a local cinema chain)
now they're out there doing what they love: producing, shooting, editing.

and dont forget there's always DMW (Digital Media World)

this is both a monthly Magazine, and an annual event (maybe more often than that?)
last was in Dec

HWY 1 I went to SF via the 1 it was amazing the surf was offshore about 10'. There is a gas station about 30 miles south of Big Sur and was charging $4.79.9 a gallon I put in 1.89 gallons before I realized the price. That got me to Monterey.
