IMovie to Final Cut

Good Afternoon,

I have a client that created a video in IMovie. I need to bring this video into Final Cut to do some additional editing. Usually she lays it off to Mini DV then I import it to Final Cut.

Isn't there a way she could save the IMovie as a QT file so that I could just grab the file from an FTP site and save a few steps? I don't see a way to output an IMovie as a QT file.

It's in the menu: Share>Quicktime. Set it for full-size/no compression.

You won't have any timecode with that clip, however.
