Pro Tools EDL into FCP

Hi,

Does anyone know if Pro Tools can export an EDL that can be imported into Final Cut.  Has anyone successfully done this?  I have a simple assembly edit done in Pro Tools, and levels don't matter.  I don't want to plunk down $495.00 for Automatic duck import.

-Thanks

i just bounce to disk and import it to FCP.

But then I have to cut up all the audio again.
If it's been recorded in Pro Tools with all the characters on different tracks it's silly to export the audio as one consolidated track only to cut it up again.

A couple possabilities spring to mind:

A: Bounce your tracks individually, not a mix down. (Mute tracks except the one your bouncing down and add head and tail sync pops to make your life easier.)

B: If you have a full pro-tools rig, or the dv-option, it should be possible to do an omf export, but this is where automatic duck is quite helpful.

Hey, fookai-

Are you going to mix in FCP?
I'm curious about what work flow you plan to use that where you would want to do that.
Just curious. Might help me figure out if I can help.

BTW, exporting OMF will get you into an Avid, but not into FCP. If you went that route, I suppose you could export an EDL from the Avid, but it'd be a lot of work.
