DV to Offline HD

I'm working on a show that was transferred to HDCam & DV. I captured the DV material and almost have a locked cut. Incidentally I have comped some green screen shots as well. Ultimately we will be doing a professional online & color correct at a house but I'd love to be able to up-rez before final picture lock and fine tune any mattes and verify picture integrity. So my question is, how do I recapture the cut in HD (offline rez ok) and also, can I do so with my Lacie Firewire 800 drive? My apologies if this is elementary but I am new to FCP.

You can recapture as DVCPRO HD and work with that. That is fine with the FW800 drives.
