Export to DVD studio Pro wierdness

I have a 4x3 NTSC file shot in 4x3 on a Canon XL H1 4x3 setting.

I cut the stuff together.

I export with no compression to a normal QT file with DVD studio Pro chapter makers. It's just actor auditions, so it's really simple stuff.

I drop it/import it into DVD STudio Pro and the simulator shows the picture all squished out sideways so the people look fat - (that direction of squish or squash).

Have I gone mad?

Should I just reboot?

Is this part of the larger conspiracy that I feel mounting daily against me?

Fighting my way into obscurity and hoping that someone can help the hopess - me.

check the 4:3 setting. You have it in 16:9
