"Can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong? "
having false expectations i got all excited about a burnt in display, too but this TC "display" is NOT on-screen, AFAIK. it's the tiny TC lower left of the external window, Control Click on that to choose between "Standard" (TC starts at zero), "Timecode", or "Frame Number" which is a frame count. if you want an instant solution for BITC, then QTSync is still the answer [www.qtsync.com] cheers, nick
