P2 Card long term Media Storage after download

So now I am thinking about shooting everything for our weekly show on HD720, but want to build a archive library. What do you guys recommend for storage solutions, since there are no more tapes. Hard Drives get to expensive if you shoot about 7 hours a week. Blue-Ray must take forever to burn and read back into the system when needed. Tape backups charge a fortune for there tapes, just like the Blue-Ray disks. Maybe someone has this figured out already ?

No. No one has figured this out. That's what's keeping the P2 format from widespread adoption in certain markets that require archiving of original camera media.

You mentioned three options but rejected them all for various reasons. You think there's a free lunch? There isn't.

Those are the only options. Choose one. Or maybe you can figure something out and make a bundle selling it.

Hard drives are what I do...And for all that P2 footage Mark mentioned as well.
