LiveType unwanted outline

Hello,

I am using FCP 5, Livetype 2, Mac OSX 10.4.9.

Here is my work flow. I have FCP open with DV50- NTSC timeline. I opened Livetype used white text, Arial, (tried with and without shadow, it didn?t matter), no background, effect; fly out and foreground. Once done, I import the livetype project into FCP and into the timeline. I didn?t export from livetype just imported to FCP.

This is the problem, my text seem to have a thin partial outline along the letters. It looks as if I put a sharpen effect on it. This is the first time I have ever experienced this. I have no effects added to it from FCP, and nothing more added from Livetype besides what I have stated above.

Any suggestions.

Thank you much

WAG:

try dropping a de-interlace filer on the titles,
set to De-Flicker MAX.

That was a good WAG. It did prevent the outline from being partial but it's still there. It not a big deal though. It doesn't look that bad. Thanks for the help Nick

Reset the alpha type for the LT project to premultipled with black. Make sure you look at the rendered output on a video monitor
