Help with workflow for super 16/hd finish project

In about a month I will be starting a project that will be shot Super 16 and finished HD Cam (not SR). I will have DV Cam offline tapes but not sure yet if I will be gettting flex files from the telecine house.

What would my workflow consist of to get me from my 29.97 dailies to a 24fps edl for online, also assuming that I will be pulling negative cut lists for archival purposes.

I realiize a previous forum (earlier today has touched on this but I'm looking for a detailed/proven workflow.

Telecined to what HD format?

I am available as a paid consultant in instances such as these. Or you can talk to the people at the post facility that will be handling the online...as they are the ones who ultimately will be dealing with your project at the end. That would be your best bet. They know how they need things done, and the consulting will be included (most often) in the cost of doing the project there.

there are a million different ways to approach this.
i live & work in PAL land, so all that NTSC stuff is alien to me,
and i cant really comment,

but i will say read the Cinema Tools manual.
it will sort a lot of things out for you.

The Project will be finished in HD Cam.

still doesn't directly answer the question, what are you transferring your 16mm to.

but let's assume it's HDCam

with the DVCam down-convert in there,
i have no idea whether you;d telecine at 29.97 or 23.98
my guess would be same frame-rate as the DVCam, but what do i know?

i'd be reading the CT manual by now.

Talk to the post facility that will be handling the online conform. Ask them what to do, and what you need to give them. It might differ slightly from post house to post house, and to what I or Nick or anyone will tell you, as there are subtleties.
