Problem with Frame Size when Importing dpx Images into FCP

Hello,

I'm having a Problem using GlueTools 2.5.5 with FCP 6.0... and I would very much like your help.

I just tried to Import a DPX Image Sequence into FCP using the Gluetools plugin, and I found that the Image looked Horizontally Squashed.

The DPX Image Size was 2048x1107 (a 2K Image)

After Importing the clip into FCP, when I look in the Browser (under each FrameSize) I see that the Frame Size is : 2048 x 1536. This is incorrect it should be 2048 x 1107.

However, when I tried looking at the dpx Image in Quicktime Pro (Version 7.2), it looked just fine. Interestingly Quicktime also reports the image with the correct Frame Size i.e 2048 x 1107.

Any ideas why FCP seems to have trouble and not Quicktime? I'm using Mac OS 10.4.10.
