Compressor problem

Anyone had the problem of Compressor 3 not opening at all after a re-install of FCPStudio 2? I called Apple and they said they were aware of this problem and the only cure at this time was to re-install your entire operating system. Is there an easier solution?

I had the same problem. I had to do a "clean" install of FC Studio to fix the problem.
