Screwed up on 24PA vs. 24P

I?ve shot HD for a year and so it?s been too long to remember to shoot SD in 480i/24PA and NOT 480i/24P, which is what I did, unfortunately.

The 24PA footage is nice and smooth, but the 24P is jagged and interlaced. De-interlacing or tools/remove advanced pulldown doesn?t really help. Is there anything else I can do?

It?s FCP 5.1, the camera is HVX200.

Thank you

In order to remove the 3:2 pulldown from 24pS, you either need to reverse-telecine the footage on capture via capture hardware like a Kona card or use plugins in FCP if the footage is already captured. Nattress filters will do it.
